Mariner United Rule #1... Good Sportsmanship!

AKA....Don't play dirty. Listen everybody gets frustrated when things don't go the way we want them too. But you have to remind yourself that in the end it is only a game. Soccer is supposed to be fun! The coaches demand that our boys always play with good sportsmanship. That doesn't mean we don't want you to be aggressive. I always tell Anthony "don't let them push you around". You have to lean in and make sure that the other guy knows that you aren't going to give up the ball without a fight. But intentionally tripping from behind, talking trash, pushing, kicking, or swearing at an opponent or referee will not be tolerated. You have been warned. If you engage in this type of activity you will find yourself sitting on the bench more often and playing in the field less often.
