I told the boys after the game that we are not going to win every game. When we lose we have to show good sportsmanship and congratulate our opponents for a job well done. And we did that. Mike and I want to see that good attitude whether we win or lose!

That was a very big and seemingly older Dartmouth team that we played. And we held our own and never quit! I talked to their coach and he said it was a mix of Dartmouth FC U12 players and Vipers U12 players. They also had a St. Michaels U13 player. So all in all we played tough. We have some things to work on but we are still trying to get used to playing together and I see a lot of progress.

Cole had a great game putting pressure on the goalie and defenders all game. His PK goal was the highlight of the day! Great job Cole. When you play at 100% effort it shows. Christian got a nice assist on Anthony's goal. Perfect pass and Ant was able to find the net! Nice work boys! Curly, Tres, and Dylan played good defense but we let too many attackers get behind us which resulted in too many point blank shots. This wont be an issue when we get outdoors. One of the pitfalls of indoor is the lack of offsides. I don't like it but what can you do?

Spring is approaching swiftly and if the weather stays warm we should be able to get going with outside practices. Hopefully the first week of March. But we are getting some great experience right now and by the time we start playing games outdoors I think this is going to be a very strong team.

More great pics from Tina she was able to get both goals! Thanks Tina!
